Michael ran a 15k trail race today and took 3rd place for the men! His running buddy (no, not me today) placed 2nd for the women. I felt really conspicuous hanging out with everyone afterwards given that I was wearing chords and a t-shirt and wasn't sweaty or disheveled in the least. There was also a 25k and 50k race going on, as well as a biking/running combo so it was really cool to see such an amazing array of athletes. I felt really guilty for not doing it! Then I heard how Michael slipped and fell down some stairs and I didn't feel quite so bad. Everyone was covered in dirt. Awesome.
