"What I want to say is this: - If you logically try to persuade a person that there is no absolute reason for shedding tears, the person in question will cease weeping. That's self evident. Why, I should like to know, should such a person continue doing so?"

"If such were the usual course of things, life would be a very easy matter," replied Raskolnikoff.

I'll stop blogging now

I'm starting to hate my blog. It's quite bogged down in the minutiae. Who gives a shit about the minutiae? Although van der Rohe did say that "God was in the details". Okay, so he was talking about architecture, and possibly the Barcelona chair, and not about some whingeing idiot lamenting about how her drawers rasp against each other.
I need to take a month off and go sit in a bare room and think about what I've done.
Do you forgive me?

Please do not stop blogging. I live vicariously through you, and if I cannot read about your daily foibles, my life will lose its meaning. When I read your blog, I remember that there was a time when I ran marathons, bought coffees at coffee shops, bought $80 jeans, and just generally did whatever I wanted without being accountable to anyone. I'm not saying that I miss that time, but... I miss that time. Well, this is good too.

Thanks, supermommy! I will continue to get into all sorts of trouble and while doing say, tell myself (and others) that I'm doing it for you. "But... supermommy would want me to do this! We must forge on!"
